How To Pick Your Next Plant

Picking the correct plant for your home can be a bit challenging at times. What may look like a beautiful plant, can be extremely hard to care for. This can lead to a quick disaster and also make you think you don’t have a green thumb. In most cases this is very untrue. When it comes to picking a plant, you need to first evaluate your surroundings. How much light do you get in your home? What zone do you live in? Which plants need more humidity than others? This can all sound frightening, but now that there is Google, you can make the process extremely easy. When you are out shopping for a new plant, find the name of the plant and after typing it into google, add the word “care”. This will tell you immediately what kind of light, watering and fertilizer it needs. If you don’t have a lot of light in your home, don’t fret, there are now grow lights that you can easily purchase on Amazon. If you prefer not to have grow lights, that’s okay too. There are many plants that thrive in low light homes. Another easy way to find these plants is, you guessed it, google!
